If you haven't noticed EverSure.net for EverSureIT has a new look. We are now running Drupal Core 7.0 with the Marinelli theme. The admin structure is much more like Wordpress in its application. What many of these CMS systems, or Content Management Systems , do is provide a structure to a website with minimal programming required. Changes are easily made with a module plugin. The only shortcoming of the most recent version of Drupal and its subsequent theme Marinelli is the inability to easily change the colour or structure of the theme.
Although the theme is beautiful visually, it doesn't allow for much in the way of flexibility in something as simple as colour. A course requirement in CSS2 Validation perhaps needs to be required just to change the layout. The Firebug plugin for Firefox does reveal some of the html coding for each page but it would hardly be called simple.
Perhaps a different theme will be required to provide more flexibility with a similar visual impact than the current Marinelli theme. Drupal appears in many ways the same as Wordpress 3.1 in its administration menu. Simplification is in order for installation and publishing. As the Drupal world moves more toward the new 7.0 version, more themes may become available but in the current format the themes lack flexibility.
